In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the couple built an unusual house-dome. There are no right angles in the building.
The house is almost all made of styrofoam. Gas blocks were taken as the basis of the walls and a heating system was made. Gas was not supplied, so heating is many times cheaper than for a two-room apartment.
The couple is confident in the safety of their home. The house also withstands gusts of wind. The house was well ventilated, and the walls were covered with a thick layer of plaster. The construction of such a house cost 32 thousand dollars.
Construction technology originates from Japan. The construction company Japan Dome House Co has patented and started production of dome or hemisphere-shaped houses with styrofoam.
Due to its shape, the building looks quite spacious. One-storey house with a base diameter of 7-8 meters, depending on the configuration and layout of internal partitions and walls, can have a total area of up to 60 square meters.
